My Story…
My dear friend Maria and I both were diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Sadly she lost her battle as I was finishing my treatment. I got the chance to work with Maria at RBC in Wheatley and her youngest daughter Monica years later at the Talbot Trail Golf Club . I always admired Maria’s ability to take care of her family , work, develop close relationships at her church and have fun with friends . She told me to never give up fighting and to take care of myself while she was taking her last breaths and I will walk to honour her and beloved family. Thank you to the hospice for giving her family a few moments of joy in their final minutes with our Maria ❤️
